Bonus Games are The Main Focus
Look, if we listed every feature here, 1. you wouldn't be able to find them for yourself, and 2. you wouldn't read our bonus features section below the review. They are abundant, with three free-spin features and two click-me features.
They're all a lot of fun, some more than others. The main issue with this Marvel Spiderman slot machine is that you can't choose which features you get. And, given that you have to wait for 100 to 150 spins for a special feature, it's a real shame that once you're there, you're not guaranteed a feature you'll enjoy or one that will result in big wins for this credit deposit slot.

But, given that it has a lower variance than the other Marvel Playtech slots, what should you expect? Playtech wasn't about to keep releasing the same game. So Spiderman foregoes big hits in exchange for big entertainment. If we could have chosen the bonus feature, this slot game would have received a solid four stars.

Wild and Spiderman Wild: The wild symbol is the one with the word 'wild' written across it. Except for the bonus symbol, It replaces all other symbols. The spiderman to the right of your screen will randomly jump from his perch and fly across the screen, granting you at least two to three wild symbols. It has several times saved our bank account.
Spidey Snapshot Feature: Like the wild feature, this one is triggered at random and uses Spiderman on the right. Except in this bonus feature, he falls from the sky and a camera snaps a picture of our webbed hero, awarding you an instant prize. If you're lucky, you might get up to 5x your bet. Thus, this game is a fair RTP slot game.
Spider-Man Collection Bonus: Get the bonus symbol on reels 1, 2, and 5 to be taken to a second screen. Five comic books are displayed on a shelf, and you must tap to stop the spinning. You've won the bonus feature if you land on any of the comic books. They are as follows:

This is our preferred click me feature. As you pursue the goblin, you'll be swinging through New York. Each location has a mini-bonus game where you can win cash or two types of Spider-Man sense to help you in the next mini-bonus game. You'll continue to swing until you hit the collect button.
It's by far one of the most difficult features to master. We may have only seen it 4 or 5 times in our time playing this slot, but when it does appear, it can have some surprising big wins or 50 to 60 times our bet.
3. Hot Zone Free Games:
You'll get 20 free spins with extra wilds here. Spiderman will launch webbing at the reels, which will remain in place for three spins. Any wild symbol caught in the web will remain there, and the Green Goblin will act as an extra wild with a 2x multiplier if he appears.
It's a lot of fun, but you'll only win about 30 times your bet.
4. Rivaling Free Spins:
These free spins are where we've heard people winning 150x their bet. I'm not sure where they get that, because we never seem to get more than 20x, but hey, it's all luck, right?
You will be awarded 10 free spins with a starting multiplier of x1. If the Spider-Man symbol appears, the game counter is reset, giving you an infinite number of free spins. If it reappears, the multiplier will be increased to x5. When the Green Goblin symbol appears, the counter and multiplier are reset.
People become excited about this bonus round when they see the 5x multiplier and the words 'limitless free spins' on the reels. But that's deceptive advertising. It's nearly impossible to get a 5x multiplier, and the spidey symbol only gives you... 10 maybe?... free spins. Every time, that goblin appears to ruin the fun.
5. Radioactive Free Spins:
You'll get 15 free spins with an extra radioactive wild spider appearing on reel three. When this happens, it not only acts as a wild, but it also spreads to reels 2 and 4 to add one extra random wild on each reel. Do you want to know what this means? On this feature, we've hit five of a kind a few times.
Again, don't expect the world, but 50x to 70x your bet is possible with this feature, though we've previously walked away with only 10x.
Marvel Progressive Jackpot: Every Marvel slot machine is linked to a mystery progressive jackpot. Any of these four can be triggered at any time at random. Though the jackpots can be triggered at any time, the higher your bet, the more likely you are to win the jackpot.
We've never played this mini-game, so we can't tell you much about it except that it's a 4x5 grid with 20 squares, each of which contains a different jackpot symbol. You win the jackpot if you match three symbols.
The sums range from a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This Spider-Man slot machine should be played on an iPad or an Android tablet. It's not because it requires a lot of processing power, but because it's visually appealing, with sharp designs and sounds.
So it's a shame that the bonus features, which are half the fun, aren't as easy to come across as you'd expect from a lower volatility slot. You must budget your slot account carefully to get there, and once there, you are not guaranteed a big win.
